So I came back and drop off the Kindle and he says ok it should be done in like an hour to an hour and a half. And he asks me after he told me the part came on the 23 rd, he asks, «That was yesterday right?» I was like no it was like last week… so he tells me to bring the Kindle by tomorrow, the 29 th, as he will have located the box by then. So he checks the computer and says it arrived on the 23 rd. So I go in almost 3 weeks after and walk in to the store, ask the guy what’s been going on if he got the part? He tells me that he’s been on vacation and barely just got back. I am grateful to uBreak iPhix for their help with my iPod, iPhone and currently my laptop I was referred to them by a member of Best Buys Geek Squad when. So I wait the next week figuring it just didn’t arrive yet, and still no word from the guy about the part. So I wait, that week came and went, no call no text, on to the next week. So he orders it and takes my name and cell phone number and tells me that he would call me the next week. The guy said he had to order it from a vendor and that it would take a week about to get here or I could pay 20 more to get it quicker like the next day supposedly, so I decline because it was costing 68 to repair it already on a 200 item, but pay the 30 dollar deposit to order the replacement glass. A simple hey buddy come on in and lets see what you have would have made his company 80 dollars and future business, sure he doesnt give a damn. His claim is hes transparent and thats why he has alot of customers, thats great but he obviously doesnt know how or when to be tranparent. Guess the customer is never right or respected in his eyes.Never wrote a review before but this guy is low class. I went to a competitor and they replaced it in 1 hr, and works great.Called sarcastic guy back to give him a review in customer service but hes so arrogant I couldnt get a word in. I didnt ask him if it was fake but what he would charge to replace. He immediately said it was fake and I was duked. Called to get a quote to have a screen replaced on my cell. If an employee, he lost my present and future business for this company. South Salinas location-Didnt catch name of person but good God I hope its not the owner.
